Associate Dentist

Job summary

Pitsea Dental Care are looking for both a full and part-time associate to work Monday to Friday (flexible days and hours). There are also additional optional sessions available with bonus payments for working Monday - Friday 5-7pm and Saturday + Sunday 8.45am-1.30pm.

The practice is lead by a patient and growth centric minded principal, who is supported by a fantastic clinical and clerical team. There is very low staff turnover which has allowed us to provide a high quality and friendly service.

• 92% NHS with scope for private work.
• 2,000 to 10,000 UDAs.
• 50% split on NHS/private work - NHS earning potential up to £125,000 after split.
• 50% split on lab work.

Main duties of the job

• Performing oral examinations and identifying dental health issues.
• Diagnosing and providing appropriate dental treatment to patients, including regular cleanings, root canals, surgical extractions, implants, and cosmetic dentistry.
• Educating patients about oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
• Assisting and supporting patients with dental problems, including diagnoses, treatment planning, and dental maintenance.
• Performing diagnostic and preventative dentistry, including cleanings, polishing, fluoride treatment, sealants, X-rays, and other diagnostic and preventative procedures.
• We also have a NHS orthodontic contract as well if associate is interested in furthering studies and mentoring.
