Salaried GP or GP Partner

Job summary

Due to retirement and list expansion, we are looking for a GP as partner or salaried. The London Road Surgery is based in Wickford, Essex - a country market town with fast links to London.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a popular friendly established market town practice providing the full range of traditional family medicine whilst embracing modern developments.

Work/Life Balance:

• 8 weeks leave including CPD.
• No OOH/weekends
• Full time 8 sessions or flexible FT/PT/job share
• Home visiting service
• Weekly practice clinical + MDT meetings
• Excellent local CPD
• High QOF

• 13,800 patients and growing
• 3 partners 3 salaried GPs
• ANP x 2, nurses x 2 + HCA
• Paramedic, advanced care practitioner, pharmacist; social prescriber and mental health practitioner
• Full admin team, secretaries, coders, data clerk
• Full range of clinics: asthma/DM/IUCD etc.
• Minor surgery with operating theatre
• Specialist travel clinic
• Other interests encouraged.

Main duties of the job

All applicants should have the following qualifications:

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
• Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate)
• Be on the NHSE medical performers list
