Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic salaried GP to join our friendly, caring, dynamic and innovative practice working 6 sessions per week.
East Hill Surgery are a busy, effective and well organised training GMS practice with currently 4 GP partners and 2 salaried GPs. We have streamlined processes, 9000 patients, an excellent reputation and located in the centre of Colchester city. We have a Good CQC rating and high achievement for QoF.
General GP duties are to be carried out and you will be required to participate in some clinical meetings. Home visits are very few as these covered by our paramedics. You will be supported by a multidisciplinary team of practice nurses, HCAs, paramedics, mental health nurse, physician associate, social prescribers, GP care advisor, health & wellbeing coach, first contact MSK physiotherapist, GP trainees and a clinical pharmacist.
Main duties of the job
- Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
- Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate)
- Be on the NHSE medical performers list
- Knowledge of Emis Web would be advantageous, but full training will be given.
