Dispensary Assistant

Job summary

Angel Lane Surgery has a fantastic opportunity for a dispensary assistant to join our busy dispensary team, on a part time basis for 27 hours per week, over 4 days, to work at the heart of our patient care service.

Main duties of the job

• Greeting and directing all patients at the dispensary counter;
• Accepting, issuing and handing out prescriptions and dispensed items;
• Dealing with requests for information, and managing problems and complaints;
• Advising patients of practice procedures;
• Answering the telephone, promptly;
• Flexibility to cover other areas when required multi-skill mix;
• Any ad hoc work which is requested of the post-holder.
