Job summary

Ludham and Stalham Green Surgery are looking for a salaried GP to join their busy practice, covering 6 sessions a week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This is for a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave for 9 months from mid August 2024 to mid May 2025. We are seeking to recruit a motivated, flexible and caring GP, who shares our ethos of excellent patient centred care, to join our team. We are happy to consider both experienced and newly qualified GPs.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, high achieving and supportive, established rural practice, providing the full range of traditional family medicine. Our surgery is well regarded and supported by our patients.

Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate)
Be on the NHSE medical performers list

Experience

Essential

Good understanding and experience of chronic disease management, and primary prevention and screening services;
Ability to take responsibility for your own career development, learning and performance and are responsible for ensuring that all your mandatory training is in date;
Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety;
Commitment to life-long learning and audit to ensure evidence-based best practice;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a confidential manner.
