Job summary
Downhall Park Surgery has an opportunity for an administrator or administration manager to join our busy practice support team, on a part-time basis for 12-15 hours per week, over 3 days.
Main duties of the job
The primary responsibility of the post-holder will be to ensure the seamless operation of all administrative processes within the practice.

Experience
Essential
- Strong IT and typing skills.
- Ability to process referrals to hospitals and a variety of community services.
- Ability to process patient registrations and deductions.
- Excellent communicators able to work in a confidential and discreet manner.
- Ability to "think on their feet" in a busy working environment.
- Ability to multi-task, work hard and maintain a high level of attention to detail, when under pressure.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as comfortable working independently.
- Experience of dealing with complaints sensitively.
Desirable
- Previous experience within the NHS, GP surgery or medical environment.
- Experience in the use of SystmOne
