A fantastic opportunity for a reliable and friendly receptionist to join our team.

As the first point of contact for patients, you will handle enquiries with professionalism and empathy. You will also be responsible for administrative duties such as appointment scheduling and maintaining patient records.

£11.44 per hour

This is a part-time role for 27.5 hours per week. You will be working a mixed shift pattern, covering 7.30am-1pm and 1pm-6.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Main duties of the job

As a Medical Receptionist you will play a vital role as part of a busy team who are the face of the Practice. Together with your colleagues you support the clinical team in caring for our patients.

The role is varied as no two phone calls are the same and you will be responsible for making sure patients are dealt with in an efficient and friendly manner.

In your role you will be responsible for:

  • Booking appointments for patients with the appropriate medical professional;
  • Dealing with general enquiries from patients and visitors;
  • Assisting patients to complete new registration form;
  • Supporting colleagues to maintain an efficient and friendly atmosphere;
  • Assisting with any other administration required.
