Job summary

    We are looking for an experienced wellbeing manager to work at The Nook in Norwich, on a full time basis, although part time hours will be considered, for a minimum of 30 hours per week. You will join our wellbeing and leadership teams, supporting our service users, their families and our clinical colleagues. You will also work alongside relevant counterparts at our other hospices in East Anglia.

Main duties of the job

As the Locality Wellbeing Lead you will have experience of managing a team in a therapeutic setting and will have confident leadership and people development skills.

You will have experience of therapeutic work and be able demonstrate evidence of supervision training as well as be able to provide specialist assessment and interventions (within sphere of professional education and training) to children, young people and their families.

Every day will be different & offers new challenges as you lead the delivery of high quality psychological support to families who are caring for babies, children and young people with life threatening conditions and those families who are bereaved.

About us

We are currently caring for over 350 families with children needing palliative & end of life care & are providing support to more than 200 bereaved families.

Our full & diverse range of services includes:nursing care, specialist symptom management nursing, short breaks, wellbeing activities, counselling & therapies, care at end of life, bereavement support, & volunteer services in the home; all meeting the individual needs of the baby, child, young person & their whole family.
