Job summary
Lodge Health Partnership is looking to appoint an experienced practice business manager on a job share basis for 3 days per week, with the current business manager, to help lead our organisation and bring our three practices together.
You will manage and coordinate all aspects of the organisations day-to-day business, motivating and managing staff, optimising efficiency, and financial performance, and ensuring the partnership achieves its long-term strategies.
The post is primarily based across the three practices; Lodge Surgery, Highfield Surgery and Redbourn Health Centre. There would be an office for the practice business manager at each practice. Each surgery is an approximate 10 minute drive, therefore a full driving licence and car is required; business miles will be reimbursed.

Lodge Health Partnership is a long-standing GP surgery originally established in 1990, it has a long tradition of providing family medicine and a teaching environment for doctors and nurses.

Lodge Health Partnership is comprised of three surgeries; Lodge Surgery, Highfield Surgery & Redbourn Health Centre with a total population of 21,000 patients. They received a overall GOOD CQC rating in 2015 & very recently in November 2023. QOF achievement is consistently high almost achieving maximum points each year. The clinical system used is EMIS Web & 57% of patients are registered for online services. There are seven GP Partners, Dr Mark Bevis, Dr Ruth Williams, Dr Nina Ghai, Dr Sarah Dowling, Dr Rani Bathia, Dr Elfrieda Power & Dr Ketan Bhatt. There are fourteen salaried GPs, three nurse practitioners & a nursing team including eight healthcare assistants across the three sites. The partnership train GP registrars, FY2, medical students, physician associates & student nurses. The partnership is committed to professional development, creating a work life balance for everyone & ensuring that the wellbeing of staff is supported. The practices are open from 08:00 to 18:30 Monday to Friday & 08:30 to 12:00 on Saturday; outside these hours calls are directed to 111.
