Salaried GP with view to Partnership

Job summary

Abbey Road Surgery in Waltham Cross is looking for a committed and enthusiastic GP to join our busy practice and help us make a positive impact on our local community. Long term, we are looking for the successful candidate to join us as a partner but the role will initially be recruited to on a salaried contract (with a view to partnership). We are flexible regarding the number of sessions to be worked and offer 8 weeks holiday/study leave.

Abbey Road Surgery aims to provide a traditional family doctor service in a friendly and efficient way. Working as part of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to support and care for a diverse patient group. The role will include all general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

About us

Abbey Road Surgery is an enthusiastic, friendly practice with over 9,000 patients. Our premises are purpose built and well-equipped. We operate SystmOne clinical system, have a history of high QOF achievement and a CQC rating of good across all domains, with outstanding on people with long term conditions.

We offer a friendly working environment and a supportive admin team. There are currently 4 GP partners, 2 salaried GPs and 2 practice nurses and a healthcare assistant. We are also supported by PCN staff which include pharmacists, an online physiotherapist and a long-term pain clinic. We have an engaged Patient Participation Group which meets regularly.
