Job summary

Little St Johns Surgery in Woodbridge has an exciting opportunity for a hardworking and enthusiastic advanced nurse practitioner to join our clinical team, on a full or part time basis, with hours to suit the successful individual.

Main duties of the job

  • Undertake home visits for our patients.
  • Help support the GP team with the management of care home patients.
  • Hold regular minor illness clinics.
  • Support the GP and nurse teams with additional duties as required.

  • Be able to effectively assess, plan, treat and refer patients.
  • Be able to evaluate patient care confidently.
  • Have experience of working to protocols and guidelines.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Have the ability to make clear decisions with confidence and communicate these effectively.
  • Have experience of autonomous practice working and multi-professional team working.
