Job summary
The Knares Medical Practice is looking for an experienced practice nurse to undertake the delivery of nursing care, health education and screening in general practice, working with the doctors and nursing team to bring medical services to the patients.

About us
The Knares Medical Practice is a small practice located in Basildon with a practice list size of over 8,000 patients.
We are a friendly team of 2 GP partners, 2 GP assistants, 1 nurse practitioner, assistant nurse associate, clinical pharmacists, care coordinator, social prescriber, mental health team and a fantastic support team of administrators.

Essential
- All applicants should have the following qualifications, registrations, skills and experience:-
- A relevant nursing degree, with post-qualification experience in general practice;
- Current NMC registration with an active PIN;
- Competent to undertake asthma, COPD, diabetes, CHD clinics and reviews, holding the relevant certificates.
- Evidence of clinical skills and experience in treatment room consultation, phlebotomy, ECG recording, screening, management of long-term conditions, cervical cytology sampling, vaccinations and immunisations, dressing and wound care and recording spirometry.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach, with demonstrable kindness in all aspects of work, as well as valuing the dignity of patients, relatives, carers and colleagues.
- Knowledge and application of supporting long-term conditions.
- Insight and understanding of current issues in nursing and the NHS.
