Dispensary Team Leader

Information:

This job is now closed

Job summary

Stanton Surgery is currently looking to recruit a dispensary lead, on a full time basis, for 37 hours per week. If you are looking for an exciting, new opportunity to work in a forward-thinking dispensary team, this could be the role for you.

Main duties of the job

We are always looking for new ways to do things, to ensure we provide the best possible care for our patients. We recently changed our dispensary software, and are the second dispensing practice in the country to utilise this software, which is normally found in pharmacies; this has led to 24-48 hour turnaround of routine prescriptions.

About us

We are a rural dispensing and training practice located in the village of Stanton, set in the beautiful Suffolk countryside close to Bury St Edmunds. We serve a stable population of approx. 5300 patients. We are a 2 partner GMS practice, and work alongside our 2 salaried GPs and two regular long term locums. We offer a supportive, happy working environment, and were recently approved as a GP training practice. We already have our first two GP trainees working alongside us, and in the future we aim to host nursing students also.

We offer traditional general practice, and we will be very supportive of any additional training needs. We work in modern, purpose-built premises, which have recently been extended and provide a bright and airy setting in which to work.

Benefits include:

  • Regular working hours - Monday-Friday (with very occasional weekends)
  • We are rated Good across all areas by CQC
  • Systems to support you include Titan dispensing system, EMIS WEB and DOCMAN, but we are moving to SystmOne Clinical System at the end of January 2024

We actively encourage informal visits, to meet our friendly team; please contact sian.stibling@nhs.net
