Main duties of the job

The new role will work alongside our assistant practice manager, and experienced managers within the COLTE executive team who focus on supporting activity at a practice level, as well as identifying areas of central cohesion to the benefit of the member practices and collective patients. HR and payroll are managed centrally by the COLTE team. We also benefit from an excellent audit and care co-ordination team who independently manage QoF, IIF and patient communication.

About us

Tiptree Medical Centre is a friendly, high-performing practice caring for approximately 12,000 patients in north east Essex, equidistant between Chelmsford and Colchester, providing access to London in one direction and the beautiful coast and East Anglia in the other. Our team consists of 2 GP partners (who are married to each other) and 6 Salaried GPs (all working on a part-time basis) as well as excellent nursing and pharmacy teams.

We emphasise family-friendly working conditions. We are a founding member of the COLTE Partnership, benefiting from working at scale and sharing skills in both a clinical and non-clinical capacity whilst maintaining financial and operational independence. We also benefit from working in a PCN with two other like-minded practices.

The Colte Partnership is a GP super-partnership, formed in June 2017 and bringing together 9 local GP surgeries across Colchester and Tendring, to serve approximately 98,000 patients. With the combined workforce, skills and knowledge, we are in a unique position to assist our patients across the county.

As well as general practice, we offer extended access appointments to enable all of our patients to access medical care at evening and weekends. We work collaboratively with external agencies to provide in-home services and social prescribing. We are working to be at the forefront of clinical research and have many more exciting ventures on the horizon.
