Consultant Pharmacist - Radiology, Endoscopy & NHS Screening Services Contract: Bank / Part Time - Consultancy Location: National (remote with occasional site visits) At InHealth, our purpose is simple: to make healthcare better. Were now looking for a Consultant Pharmacist to shape and strengthen medicines governance across our radiology, endoscopy and screening services - playing a critical role in ensuring safe, effective and compliant care at scale
Main duties of the job
Leading the medicines management strategy across radiology, endoscopy and screening services Acting as the organisations expert advisor on medicines governance and safety Developing and maintaining policies and frameworks aligned to UK legislation, CQC standards and national guidance Authoring and overseeing Patient Group Directives (PGDs) across clinical pathways Providing specialist advice on contrast agents, bowel preparation, sedation and medicines handling Contributing to Medicines Management Committee meetings Supporting audits, incident reviews and quality improvement initiatives Keeping services aligned with emerging legislation, safety alerts and national best practice Supporting and developing clinical teams through training and guidance
