Main duties of the job

Were seeking an experienced respiratory nurse to lead and inspire our nursing team across mobile screening clinics. Acting as the clinical expert on the ground, you'll ensure services run smoothly, safely, and effectively - both virtually and face-to-face. Your responsibilities will include: Leading the day-to-day operations of Lung Health Check clinics Mentoring, supporting, and developing the nursing team Collaborating with our Clinical Lead, Operations Manager, and wider clinical team Contributing expert input at weekly screening review meetings Maintaining high clinical standards and driving continuous improvement through audits and protocols Managing rota's and ensuring service coverage Traveling to mobile sites across your region (nurses work standard 12-hour shifts within a 7-day service) This is your opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team shaping the future of lung cancer screening in the UK.

Hours:36 hours across 4/5 days (Monday - Friday with occasional on call over the weekend - we can be flexible within core office hours) Location:South West Region Remote with occasional travel(approx. once a month for site or management visits flexibility available)

Registered Nurse (Band 7 or senior Band 6 with respiratory experience) Strong clinical assessment skills and confidence working autonomously Leadership and line-management experience Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills Full UK driving licence

Bonus skills (training available): Spirometry/ARTP, IRMER, smoking cessation, leadership or teaching qualifications, and experience in screening pathways.
