Job summary
We are looking for a Sonographer to join our Ultrasound team, in Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham, on a permanent, full-time basis. Our Sonographers at InHealth work with a dedicated Healthcare Assistant with a pre-booked set of patient appointments.
You will work from our new Community Diagnostic Centre in Chelmsley Wood, working 5 days out of 7, Monday-Sunday.
You will undertake ultrasound procedures efficiently and effectively, adhering to the best practice of Ultrasound techniques, complying with the relevant codes of practice.
Main duties of the job
What you will do:
- Independently provide general abdominal, pelvic, and small parts ultrasound scanning services.
- Independently produce a clinical report to InHealth standards, for each completed scan.
- Provide a high-quality professional experience for patients, supporting them throughout the process from referral to results.
- Undertake administrative duties ensuring patient information systems are up to date and maintained.
- Participate in matters concerning clinical governance, clinical audits and quality assurance.

- Registered with the HCPC, GMC or RCT
- To be able to scan and report proficiently in all relevant areas of Ultrasound practice
- Eligibility to reside and work in the UK, with experience of working in the UK as a General or MSK Sonographer.
- Participate in matters concerning clinical governance, clinical audits and quality assurance.
