Job summary

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Clinical Governance Coordinator to join the InHealth Team, on a full-time permanent basis. This is a hybrid role, working 1 day per week from our office in Beaconsfield. The Clinical Governance Coordinator supports InHealths goal to make healthcare better through the provision of governance support to the Clinical Quality Team. Working collaboratively with colleagues, they support the delivery and administration of clinical governance activities, facilitating group-wide assurance and regulatory compliance. This includes quality governance administration, regulatory submissions e.g., CQC notifications, safety alert management, and day-to-day governance support for Operational Teams. As part of the Clinical Quality Team, the Clinical Governance Coordinator also supports the delivery of ad hoc initiatives that champion patient safety, quality improvement, and the delivery of high-quality clinical care.

Main duties of the job

Provide diligent administration that supports accreditation requirements and regulatory compliance e.g., Accreditation submissions, statutory notifications to regulators. Facilitate clinical assurance through effective management of the governance calendar and co-ordination of governance forums and committees. Support the management of the Clinical Quality shared inbox, ensuring appropriate referral and escalation to Business Partners and Subject Matter Experts. Provide effective administrative support to the Clinical Quality Team. Facilitate the creation of accurate, high-quality governance reports that meet internal and external requirements. Work collaboratively with the Complaints Facilitator and Compliance Administrator to provide effective quality support to senior and business colleagues.

  • Administering all statutory notifications in line with company policy and regulatory requirements e.g., CQC notifications, Statement of Purpose update.
  • Facilitating the creation of accurate, high-quality governance reports that are designed for internal and external use e.g., Creating report templates, compiling report content, formatting and proofreading.
  • Supporting finance and procurement administration e.g., PO management
  • Supporting the management of the Clinical Quality teams shared inbox, ensuring effective inbox management and escalation/resolution of queries.
  • Co-ordinating the management of safety alerts, ensuring that these are reviewed by the relevant clinical experts and effectively cascaded across InHealths business areas.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the effective coordination of policy implementation, audit, and complaint management activities.
