Are you a Breast Screening Radiographer looking for a new challenge?
We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Mammographer to join our Breast Screening team in Exeter.
Our Breast Screening and Assessment Clinics are staffed by dedicated multi-disciplinary teams of Consultant Radiologists, Associate Breast Clinicians, highly experienced Radiographers, Mammographers, clinical and administration staff; recalling women to obtain a definitive diagnosis of all potential screen detected abnormalities.
This is achieved by following the principles of triple assessment mammography/ultrasound, clinical examination and needle biopsy).
Our primary goal is to make healthcare better by providing rapid and accurate assessment of every patients condition, enabling the right treatment to be delivered swiftly and effectively by specialist providers.
Main duties of the job
What does being a Mammographer involve?
This is a part-time role, working 28.8 hours per week on a local rota across Monday Friday.
As a Mammographer at InHealth, you will provide a high-quality imaging service to all users of the service and screen women for breast cancer by mammography.
You will participate in assessment clinics including stereotactic biopsies and participate in the support of development of assistant practitioners.

- Ability to listen and communicate effectively, using a variety of methods bearing in mindthediverse nature of the clients who attend breast screening
- Be able to workco-operatively, across organisational boundaries, cultures and diversity to achieve shared goals for the breast screening service and for the organisation.
- Maintain and demonstratethe appropriateand necessary technical knowledge for breastimaging andcontinue to refine relevant analytical/technical skills as well as professional judgement.
