Here at InHealth, we are expanding our teams and we have a requirement for a Senior Registered Nurse with experience in an endoscopy setting.
You will deliver Endoscopy services for our Community Diagnostic Centre in Yeovil to the highest standards, using a model of care that recognises the psychological, physical and social needs of our patients.
The Community Diagnostic centre is due to open in November 2024 and until then, if you are keen to start prior to this date, we are more than happy to offer you a role on our mobile endoscopy units where we can integrate you into the business and provide lots of exciting training opportunities.
Main duties of the job
What you will do:
Take ownership and fulfil the requirements of any required statutory and mandatory training
Deliver endoscopy services in our sites to the highest standards for our patients, carrying out pre, peri and post endoscopy care
Complete competency assessments
Lead teams of registered nurses and healthcare workers, escalating clinically where appropriate.
Maintain effective communications with patients, relatives and other members of the multidisciplinary team
Provide a safe care environment, including preparing and clearing up rooms and equipment, with particular care over infection control.
About you:
An experienced Senior Endoscopy Registered Nurse, with an advanced diploma of higher education in Nursing.
A team player who is supportive, reliable, and trustworthy, who gets stuck in and creates a positive atmosphere
Experienced in working in a multidisciplinary team
A great communicator at all levels written, verbal and listening
A person who naturally instils confidence in everyone they work with
Calm in challenging situations, working well under pressure.
