As part of the InHealth Group that sees more than 3 million patients each year, InHealth Intelligence is a leading software provider of information management solutions for health organisations across the UK. Our main areas of focus is providing Diabetic Eye Screening services and population-based data analysis, to improve diagnosis of long-term conditions and promote prevention that ultimately supports patients. Working in partnership with commissioning organisations, NHS Trusts and General Practices, we help them to care for patients with long-term conditions. We also provide Child Health services for several areas across the country, monitoring the childs care pathway and ensuring they are receiving their scheduled immunisations and examinations correctly.

Job responsibilities
Role: Data Engineer
Location: Remote but flexible to attend our office in Middlewich as and when needed.
Salary: 40,000 - 55,000
As our Data Engineer you will design, develop and maintain data pipelines and reports. Reporting to the Head of Data Analytics, the successful Data Engineer will focus on automating our current manual data load process. Part of your role will also consist of collaborating with other key departments to ensure E2E data solutions are delivered and key deadlines are met.
What you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate data from disparate sources.
- Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various sources using SQL technologies.
- Identifying, designing and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes.
- Working with key stakeholders including the Executive, Product, and Development teams to support their data infrastructure needs while assisting with data-related technical issues.
- Support the ongoing improvement of data load processes, by creating documentation and providing suggestions for improvements.

- Working with languages such as Python/R/Java to solve business problems.
It would be beneficial if you have experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related disciplines
- Transforming and loading Healthcare data, primarily for the NHS.
- Organisation/clinical reference data.
