Job summary

Here at InHealth, we are expanding our teams and we have a requirement for a Healthcare Support Worker to join our team in an endoscopy setting. You will help to deliver endoscopy services for our static site to the highest standards, using a model of care that recognises the psychological, physical and social needs of our patients.

Main duties of the job

Welcoming patients to the clinic in a professional manner and acting as patient advocate at all times to ensure both privacy and dignity The decontamination and disinfection of endoscopes and accessories, including the safe handling and safe storage of equipment. Assisting in the procedure room with patients clinical procedures Assessing patients conditions post procedure and report any changes to the relevant staff Re-ordering supplies of consumables as required Cleaning, monitoring and tidying equipment as directed and report any problems or malfunctions to senior member of staff
