Job summary

Building on the success of our 2023 annual conference and exhibition, an exciting opportunity has arisen for Events Manager Speaker Management to join the conference team at NHS Confederation, a membership body that brings together and speaks on behalf of all organisations that plan, commission and provide NHS services.

Main duties of the job

This role is a fixed term contract, to expand the capacity of the team as we develop and grow our annual conference, establishing it as the leading event for the health and care sector. The Event Manager Speaker Management will be responsible for:

- Supporting the speaker & programme management of NHS ConfedExpo a conference that attracts over 4000 delegates from across the health and care sector

- Liaising with speakers to collect programme information such as job title, organisation and biographical information

- Developing effective relationships with a range of key internal and external stakeholders, partners and organisations
