Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within a friendly and supportive team.
You will be part of a wider finance team providing support to the full Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Group supplying finance services and support.
We are seeking enthusiastic, proactive, and motivated candidates, who can demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills to join a busy team.
Main duties of the job
- Supporting the Finance Team Leader as well as fellow Finance Co-ordinators, to ensure that the service is provided in the most efficient and effective way.
- Manage the department's Microsoft Outlook inbox, ensuring all emails have been processed
- Oversee and coordinate the Finance Officers to ensure the accurate and timely processing of both supplier invoices received and customer invoices to issue, for the full Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Group.
- Assist the team make sure supplier payments are paid on time and meet the required payment terms and deadlines.
- To answer telephone and written queries promptly, passing on to relevant staff or responding to ensure that suppliers/customers/internal staff are provided with necessary information.
- Any other duties as appropriate and required
The main base for the role will be at St Nicholas Hospital in Gosforth, Newcastle Upon Tyne, following successful induction and training, hybrid working can be requested.
