Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time relief Domestic Supervisor within the NTW Solutions Facilities team. This role is contracted for 22.5 hours a week as standard however the successful candidate will be regularly expected to work up to 37.5 hours a week to cover holidays and sickness provided adequate notice is given.

The role will be based at St Nicholas Hospital, however you will additionally provide cover to our other sites (Walkegate Park, Campus for Aging & Vitality and community sites) this role will cover a range of week day and weekend shifts.

Main duties of the job

  • Maintain and improve the day-to-day running of the Domestic Services Department on an identified site and outlying areas
  • Monitor hospital hygiene standards and assist in provision of solutions to any areas causing
  • Assist in recruitment and selection of staff and other relevant workforce procedures as
  • Provide a supportive service to all service users, carers, visitors and
  • Organise and oversee the rota(s) for domestic staff within the
  • Provide support and advice to domestic staff on all aspects of company/client hygiene
  • Ensure staff adherence with new
  • Explain technical issues, such as COSSH regulations, to
  • Provide local induction to new staff within the department.
