MIAA Solutions are advertising the above role on behalf of Widnes Highfield Health. We are looking for a Network Manager to work within a well-established Primary Care Network based in Cheshire.
Widnes Highfield Health provides a range of clinical and corporate services to Widnes PCN. We are looking for a dedicated, driven candidate for this exciting role.
The PCN Manager will form an integral part of the current PCN leadership team working alongside the Clinical Director, PCN board members, Digital Lead and Transformation teams.
The PCN Manager will act as a point of expertise and coordinate the successful achievement of governance requirements, working with the Clinical Director and other PCN Leads to translate national and local policy into meaningful changes, and support practices to achieve improved outcomes for the local population.
This role would suit a candidate with previous healthcare management experience.

Main duties of the job
Job Summary:
To play a pivotal role in the delivery of high-quality primary health care within the
PCN focusing on the PCN DES contract.
Support the PCN Clinical Director and leadership team to ensure the smooth running of the Network.
To support at scale teams delivery of programmes of work
To be involved in the management and delivery plan of the Networks Vision, Clinical, Workforce, and Estates Strategies.
To be responsible to produce performance and quality reports within the Network and other Network initiatives.
Be part of the team responsible for the processing of the Networks financial submissions to ICB and to support collation of transactions utilising PCN accounts package
To assist production of financial reports in line with PCN board financial governance statement and procedures.
To represent the PCN in cross organisation meetings when agreed e.g. locality/ICB meetings/ICS and other system wide meetings

Liaise with the Operations Manager / HR lead on the recruitment, induction and training of new and existing staff groups that may or may not be employed by the PCN.
Drive issues through to resolution, acting as a point of expertise.
Finance
To monitor and check the accuracy of any submissions for PCN DES, in line with contractual requirements on behalf of the Network and ensure that all claims are submitted monthly.
With support from the PCN Clinical Director, PCN Board members, PCN Accountant and Director of Operations, ensure that the PCNs physical and financial resources are managed and maintained for maximum effectiveness.
Ensuring financial risks are recognised and appropriate action taken on monitoring expenditure and identifying significant deviations from plan
To work with Practice nominated Finance Lead to ensure socialisation of PCN financial governance arrangements, budgets and monitoring processes
Supported by Director team, collation of transactions of information on budgets lines with propriety in line with all relevant governance procedures with a view to achieving the best impact from well managed finances.
Ensure financial risks are recognised and appropriate action taken, including liaising with ICB finance teams.
Strategy and Leadership:
Research and apply evidence from national policy, guidance and benchmarking that will influence the planning and delivery of PCN priorities
Ensure proactive stakeholder management occurs, including frontline staff, team, service, organisation, senior leaders, and external bodies
Provide and build upon key performance management data, as appropriate.
Development and change:
Support and champion the development of good quality locality network plans that deliver relevant change and improvement projects which can be both measured and evaluated.
Be an integral part of PCN programme of audits and surveys that support, and evidence measures of improvement
Working with the Digital lead across the PCN and identify and develop appropriate tools and measures of improvement to support effective change, e.g., performance frameworks, population health data, outcome measures

Manage and maintain credibility with all key contacts within the network, to foster a culture of collaboration, and promote inter-service learning to drive continuous improvement.
