Job responsibilities

We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent, part time Facilities Assistant join our team based in Lewes - Lewes Victoria Hospital.

  • Hours of Work- 10 hours per week.
  • Monday-Friday 6pm-8pm.
  • Pay- £12.18 per hour.
  • Training will be provided
  • DBS check is required.
  • About the role: The post will require knowledge of all aspects required throughout the sites, including but not limited to cleaning, catering and portering. The facilities assistant is responsible for delivering a full cleaning service and the provision of a food and beverage service in accordance with health and safety requirements, Patient Lead Assessments and the Care Environment (PLACE) and NHS property services cleaning manual, polices and procedures. Role is responsible for the provision of support services assistance, ensuring areas under their responsibility are maintained to a high standard and that customers are served promptly, courteously and efficiently.
