Job summary

Ensure the delivery of a full cleaning service within NHS Property Services premises in accordance with the NHS Property Services Domestic Services Operative Manual, at the prescribed times, in line with policies and procedures and as detailed in the cleaning work schedules through the provision of management and supervision to the cleaning team.

Main duties of the job

Please note, as this is a mobile role, a driving licence, is essential and this will be covering multiple sites. Through the day-to-day management of domestic services, ensure the provision of a high quality, cost effective service which reflects customer need and operates as an effective commercial business unit. Ensure a clean environment for patient care in accordance with health & safety requirements, "NHS National Specification of Cleaning Standards", Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), Patient Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) and NHS Property Services policies and procedures

Job responsibilities

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Full time permanent Domestic/cleaning Team Leader - Mobile to join our team based at London- St Leonards Hospital Blocks A-E. Hours of Work will be:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Working Pattern will be a split shift working Monday to Friday 06.00-10.00 / 17.00-20.30.
  • Pay £15.30 per hour.
  • A driving license will be required.
  • Training will be provided.
  • No DBS Required.
  • About the role: This role will deliver a full cleaning service within NHS Property Services premises in accordance with the NHS Property Services Domestic Services Operative Manual, at the prescribed times, in line with policies and procedures and as detailed in the cleaning work schedules. . Qualifications - City and Guilds Level 3 Cleaning and Support Services or equivalent demonstrable experience. IOSH Managing Safely qualification or willingness to work towards. What we can offer you:
