Job summary

As a Domestic Assistant, you will ensure a clean environment for patient care in accordance with health and safety requirements, NHS National Specification of Cleaning Standards, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), Patient Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE), audits and NHS Property Services policies and procedures.

Main duties of the job

Previous experience working within Healthcare Services. Experience of working in a customer focused environment. Experience of using different cleaning tools/equipment.

Job responsibilities

We have a great opportunity for a Domestic Assistant to join our team based in Royston HC Melbourn Street. The salary on offer is £22,383.00 £11.45 per hour. This is Permanent part time position working 10 hours per week. The working hours are Monday-Friday 5pm-7pm. No DBS Required. We also offer; 27 days holiday not including bank holidays, access to group personal pension plan including SMART contributions into which the company will contribute up to 6% towards your savings, training and development opportunities and NHS discounts. This role will deliver a full cleaning service within NHS Property Services premises in accordance with the NHS Property Services Domestic Services Operative Manual, at the prescribed times, in line with policies and procedures and as detailed in the cleaning work schedules.
