Job summary

We are recruiting a Project Manager to join the team at the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Primary Care Workforce and Training Hub! This is an exciting opportunity to lead a specific project setting up and developing a training and simulation centre. The training centre will provide placements, education and training for primary care across South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw. We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead the development of this new initiative.

Main duties of the job

The purpose of the role is to scope out and build the early stages of a training and simulation centre that will host placements, training, development, education and events. This will involve the scoping of appropriate physical space and fit out and also the planning of maximising its use. The role will include liaison between our partners across the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw regions, including the two local universities to ensure the centre will meet the needs.

The role will be guided and supported by the Primary Care Workforce and Training Hub

About us

The Primary Care Workforce and Training Hub forms part of the wider workforce hub for the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Integrated Care System. The main aim of the hub is to support the growth and development of a resilient primary care workforce for the region, including; increasing the capacity of learning placements, promoting inter-professional education, facilitating the use of workforce tools for planning, retention and succession, supporting the safe introduction of new and emerging roles and developing initiatives to support practices to build their future workforce.

This role is available as a fixed term contract or secondment opportunity.
