Job summary
Together First CIC, Barking & Dagenham’s GP Federation, is looking for a project manager capable of leading medium sized health and social care projects within the borough. These projects could range from health inequalities improvement projects to launching a new immunisation scheme. It’s an ideal step up to Band 8 leadership for an ambitious project manager looking for project delivery work in a very deprived London borough.
Although this role is based in Barking & Dagenham, it is expected that you will work primarily from home with occasional trips in to meet for face to face meetings, both internally and with our partners in health, social care and the voluntary sector.
An ideal candidate for our team is someone who can work independently and remotely, while also providing help to more junior staff running smaller projects and change efforts.

Main duties of the job
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the competent management and delivery of one or more simultaneous projects, these projects will typically be the most complex and high profile of those run by the Federation. They will ensure value for money, responsiveness, competent management, and communication of projects and thereby contributing to the professional standing of the Federation.
The Senior Project Manager will also act provide the day-to-day guidance and leadership for other staff running projects within the Federation.
