Job summary

Nottingham City Integrated Care Partnership is recruiting for a Marketing and Communications Manager to join their passionate team. The successful candidate will work alongside the Programme Director to provide comprehensive and high quality communications services to maximise our visibility raising awareness of the ICP and extend our reach to audiences across the city. The role requires an experienced marketing and communications professional to develop, implement and evaluate innovative projects and campaigns, write content tailored for a variety of internal and external audiences, and make the best use of traditional and new media. We are seeking a self-motivated and flexible individual with impeccable attention to detail who is able to work accurately and efficiently, using their own initiative to prioritise workload.

Main duties of the job

Ability to demonstrate an understanding and application of NCGPA and ICP values, vision, and behaviours.

Educated to degree level in marketing or communications, journalism, PR or equivalent, relevant knowledge and experience.

Strong experience in communications, public relations, journalism, or marketing

Experience of both internal and external communication, marketing methods and managing high profiles.

Preparing and implementing effective communications and marketing plans for a range of projects/campaigns; with tangible examples of successful delivery.

Experience of working cross -functionally, including complex collaborations with workforce and customers/patients during marketing planning, development and delivery.

The last 12 months have seen us working differently across all sectors. This role is no different. Flexible and remote working requests are welcomed and will be considered.

About us

The Nottingham City ICP brings together all partners who can influence health and wellbeing. That means being wider than a traditional health partnership and involving people working in housing, the voluntary sector, crime and safety and more. The ICP as a place is under pinned by eight PCNs across the city which represent neighbourhoods covering populations of between 30-65,000 citizens.

The post is a fixed term / secondment for 12 months. Subject to review depending on funding of the post.

If you work for an NHS organisation this post may be offered on a secondment basis. You will need to have gained your line managers approval for the secondment prior to going to interview.

An understanding of NHS, local government and the Long Term Plan would be advantageous.
