Job summary
We are seeking to recruit Primary Care Network (PCN) Managers to work within the Bestwood and Sherwood Primary Care Networks in Nottingham City. This would suit candidates with strong healthcare management background and we would consider applications from candidates seeking either a full-time or part-time position. The PCN Manager role supports the delivery of the Primary Care Network agenda.
The PCN Manager will form an integral part of the PCN leadership team working alongside the Clinical Director(s) and the PCN board members.
Main duties of the job
The PCN Manager will act as point of expertise, coordinate the successful achievement of all governance requirements, translate national and local policy into meaningful changes, and will support practices to achieve improved outcomes for the local population. They will also liaise with the PCN Managers of other PCNs. You will be based out of several sites across your Primary Care Network locality and so travel between sites is essential.

Nottingham City General Practice Alliance (NCGPA) was formed in 2016. We are Nottingham citys first GP Federation, often referred to as NCGPA or the Alliance. Our members consist of 45 NHS GP practices in Nottingham city, who cover a population of over 336,000 patients. We are the lead employer for our PCN based roles such as Clinical Pharmacists, Social Prescribing Link Workers and Health and Wellbeing Coaches.
