Main duties of the job
The Registered Manager is responsible for the overall running of the nursing home, ensuring safe, effective and compassionate care is delivered every day
The role involves setting clear direction for the service, providing visible leadership, and creating a culture where quality, professionalism and respect are embedded in practice
You will oversee clinical and operational performance, ensuring staffing, resources and systems are in place to meet both individual needs and regulatory expectations
A key part of the role is supporting, developing and holding teams to account, while maintaining open communication with families, professionals and external partners
The post holder is expected to monitor standards, identify risks early and take decisive action to maintain compliance and improve outcomes
You will play a central role in service planning, problem solving and responding calmly to complex or changing situations, while contributing to the wider leadership of the organisation
