The Sous Chef role at Aria Healthcare's Garth House in Dorking, Surrey offers an exciting opportunity to work in a 39-bedded, nursing, residential, and dementia care home with a 'Good' CQC rating and 9.4 rating on Carehome.co.uk. You will be responsible for creating fresh, nutritious meals for the residents using the best ingredients and showcasing your culinary expertise.
Main duties of the job
As a Sous Chef at Aria Healthcare, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. This includes preparing and cooking meals, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene, and mentoring the kitchen team. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and flair for hospitality in this permanent, 31.5-hour per week role, working Thursday to Saturday, including every other weekend.
