Job summary
The role is for a Bank Sous Chef at Huntercombe Hall Nursing Home in Henley on Thames. The home is a 42-bed residential and nursing home with a 'Good' CQC rating and a 9.7 rating on Carehome.co.uk. The Sous Chef will be responsible for creating fresh, nutritious meals for the residents, working alongside the Head Chef and leading by example. Main duties of the job
The Sous Chef will be responsible for creating fresh, nutritious meals for the residents of the nursing home. They will work closely with the Head Chef, leading by example and demonstrating their creative flair to showcase high-level hospitality. The role consists of straight shifts with no evenings, and the successful candidate will receive a fully supported induction to learn the technical skills required in healthcare. There will also be an opportunity to mentor the team and progress within the Chef academy.
