Job summary
The Sous Chef role at Kippingtons Nursing Home in Sevenoaks offers a unique opportunity to work in a well-regarded 55-bed residential, nursing, and dementia care facility. The successful candidate will work alongside the Head Chef to create fresh, nutritious meals for the residents, showcasing their culinary expertise and passion for high-quality hospitality. Main duties of the job
The Sous Chef will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring the delivery of fresh, high-quality meals for the residents. This role requires a highly skilled and passionate chef who can lead by example, have creative flair, and mentor the team. The successful candidate will work straight shifts with no evenings, allowing for a better work-life balance. A fully supported induction will be provided, covering the technical skills required in the healthcare sector, as well as an opportunity to participate in the organization's Chef Academy program.
