Job summary
Aria Healthcare is a leading provider of nursing and residential care homes in the UK. The Sous Chef role at their 62-bedded Cranmer Court home in Warlingham, Surrey offers a unique opportunity to work in a well-rated care home, with a shift pattern that includes no evenings and alternate weekends off. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Chef to create fresh, nutritious meals for the residents using the best ingredients, and will have the chance to mentor the kitchen team as part of the Chef Academy program.
Main duties of the job
As a Sous Chef at Aria Healthcare's Cranmer Court home, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in the preparation and delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals for the residents. You will need to demonstrate a passion for food, a creative flair, and the ability to lead by example. The role offers a fully supported induction to the technical skills required in a healthcare setting, as well as the opportunity to mentor and develop the kitchen team through the Chef Academy program. The shift pattern includes 40 hours per week, with no evening work and alternate weekends off.

The role consists of straight shifts & no evenings!
