Job summary
The role of Activities Coordinator at Ferfoot Care Home in Chippenham, Wiltshire is to plan and deliver engaging activities that enrich the daily lives of residents, particularly those living with dementia. The home is a 52-bed residential and dementia care facility, rated 'Good' by the Care Quality Commission and highly rated by residents and their families. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for creating meaningful experiences, and the ability to tailor activities to individual needs.
Main duties of the job
As the Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a diverse program of activities that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of the residents. This may include arranging outings, organizing group activities, facilitating one-on-one sessions, and collaborating with the wider care team to ensure a holistic approach to resident wellbeing. The role requires 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends, with a competitive salary of £12.21 per hour.
