Job summary
This is a Senior Care Assistant role at L'Hermitage, a 41-bedded Residential, Nursing & Dementia care Home in St Peter, Jersey. The home is rated 8.4 on Carehome.co.uk and is looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to support both residents and staff in their everyday lives.
Main duties of the job
The Senior Care Assistant will work full-time, 36 hours per week, on 12-hour night shifts with alternate weekends required. They will be responsible for providing high-quality care to the residents, administering medication, and taking a leadership role in encouraging development and growth within the team. The successful candidate will have previous senior care assistant experience and a RQF 2 or 3 qualification, with a medication training qualification being desirable.
