Job summary
The role of Activities Co-ordinator at Hillview Court, a 48-bedded Learning Disability, Dementia & Nursing Home, is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the residents. With a focus on creating fun and stimulating activities, the successful candidate will have the chance to develop their interpersonal and planning skills to ensure that every resident is engaged and fulfilled.
Main duties of the job
As the Activities Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a diverse range of activities that cater to the unique needs and interests of the residents. This may include arts and crafts, music, games, outings, and more. You will work closely with the care team to understand the residents' preferences and tailor the activities accordingly. Strong communication and empathy will be key to your success, as you strive to bring out the best in those you care for.
