Job summary

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head Housekeeper who takes great pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention control throughout our care home. As a Head Housekeeper, you will play a central role in making our home warm and inviting by leading a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene for our residents.

Main duties of the job

The Head Housekeeper will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the care home. They will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning of all areas, including resident rooms, communal spaces, and back-of-house areas, ensuring that infection prevention control measures are followed. The Head Housekeeper will also be responsible for managing the housekeeping budget, ordering supplies, and training and supervising the housekeeping team.
