Main duties of the job

As a Senior Care Assistant at Aria Healthcare, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to the residents. This will involve assisting with daily living activities, monitoring and reporting on residents' well-being, and working closely with the nursing and care teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for the individuals in your care. You will also be expected to take on a leadership role, mentoring and supporting junior members of the care team.

  • You should have experience working in a senior care role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and supporting staff development. A relevant health and social care qualification, such as an NVQ or diploma, would be advantageous, as would any additional training or certifications related to dementia care or leadership.
