The Assistant Chef role at Heffle Court, a 41-bedded Nursing, Dementia & Residential care Home in Heathfield, East Sussex, offers an opportunity to work in a highly-rated care facility with a focus on delivering fresh, nutritious meals to the residents. The role involves supporting the Head Chef, showcasing creative culinary skills, and mentoring the team through a dedicated Chef academy.
Main duties of the job
As an Assistant Chef at Heffle Court, you will be responsible for creating fresh, nutritious meals for the residents using the best available ingredients. You will work closely with the Head Chef, leading by example and demonstrating your passion for high-quality hospitality. The role involves straight shifts with no evenings, and you will receive a fully supported induction to develop the technical skills required in the healthcare sector. You will also have the chance to mentor the team and progress through the on-site Chef academy.

We are looking for a passionate Chef that will support the Head Chef, lead by example and have the creative flair to showcase high level hospitality. The role consists of straight shifts & no evenings! There will be a fully supported induction showcasing the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor our teams to progress in our own Chef academy.
