Job summary
Aria Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join their team at Claydon House, a 49-bedded Residential, Dementia, and Nursing Home in Lewes. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating fresh, nutritious meals for the residents by utilizing the best available ingredients. This is a part-time role with straight shifts and no evenings, offering a competitive hourly rate of £12.85.
Main duties of the job
The Sous Chef will support the Head Chef, lead by example, and showcase their creative flair to deliver high-level hospitality. The role includes a fully supported induction to develop the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor the team through Aria Care's Chef academy. - Sous Chef, Straight Shifts & No Evenings!
- Part time 35 hours per week -
- Shift patterns are: 3 shifts 7am to 5pm and then one shift would be 5 hours to support the Head Chef
- £12.85 per hour

- The successful candidate should have previous experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent, with a passion for creating fresh, nutritious meals. A strong understanding of healthcare catering and the ability to work collaboratively with the wider team are also desirable. The role may require a DBS check.
