Birchwood School is seeking a highly motivated and experienced School Administrator to join our dynamic team.

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will play a vital part in the day-to-day operations of the school, with a specific focus on supporting the needs of SEN students. Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Principal with school management and leadership, with a focus on SEN provision.
  • Ensuring efficient operations, particularly related to SEN support.
  • Developing and implementing school policies and procedures that cater to the needs of SEN students.
  • Managing the school budget and financial resources, ensuring appropriate allocation for SEN programs.
  • Supervising student discipline and safety, with a sensitivity to the needs of SEN students.
  • Building strong relationships with parents, faculty, staff, and external agencies involved in SEN support.
  • Contributing to the school's strategic planning and development, ensuring a focus on SEN inclusion.
