Youll support adults with lots of different needs such as learning disabilities & autism. Youll support them to flourish in a place they call home. Youll empower the people we support to be ambitious and live fulfilled lives. Youll give high-quality support tailored to peoples needs. If you ever have any concerns about how were delivering support, the person youre supporting or a colleague then youll raise this promptly following our procedures. Safety and transparency are vital. Our approach is all about co-production with the people we support. So youll work with them to design and plan things and create the best experiences together. Youll build and nourish relationships. Each person has a care plan that youll help to create and monitor to ensure safe practices. Youll make sure you understand individual needs so that person-led care is at the heart of what you do. Youll help the people we support to develop life skills, make choices and reach their potential for independence. Help them to feel included in the community. Support people to join in with social, leisure, educational and employment activities. Help them to enjoy holidays and day trips. Our colleagues are passionate, kind and resilient and they go the extra mile for the people we support and each other. We have this expectation of all of our colleagues. Qualifications

Essential

  • Qualified to NVQ level 2 in Health and Social care

Desirable

  • Qualified to NVQ level 3

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of supporting vulnerable people

  • Previous experience supporting people with Autism
