Main duties of the job

As our Senior Partnerships and Community Projects Design Manager, you will play a central role in shaping the future direction of this work identifying and designing impactful programmes and collaborations that further this success. You will directly report to our Director of Partnerships and Communities, oversee a talented team including our Partnerships and Business Development Manager, and collaborate with brilliant colleagues across our directorate and wider charity.

You will be responsible for:

Identifying opportunitiesto createimpactful partnershipsandprogrammesthat add real value to our charity and the lives of the people we support.
Designing exceptional projects and partnerships with large commercial partners and international commercial brands.
Providing stronglydesigned projectmodels and roadmapstoourDelivery team, who directly implement our work.
Managing a portfolio of relationships.
Analysing our work to continually improve our impact.
Acting as a leader and furthering our strategy.

Director of Partnerships and Communities

RESPONSIBLE FOR/JOB PURPOSE

Overseeing the:

- Design and robust scoping of innovative, impactful, and commercially viable partnerships and projects, which can be actioned by our project delivery team

- Managing a portfolio of project and partner relationships

- Overseeing our efforts to attract new funding relationships, commercial partnerships, and added value for Community Integrated Care through strong collaboration with your direct report, our Partnerships and Business Development Manager

- Line management of our Digital Inclusion Manager, who designs and leads innovative projects that create opportunity and independence through digital engagement.

LOCATION

Home working and / or working from Community Integrated Cares Head Office (Widnes) or regional offices.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Partnerships and Community Projects Design Manager will lead the identification, design, and creation of a range of impactful projects and partnerships for Community Integrated Care. Your work will bring new innovations, skills, capacity and opportunities to Community Integrated Care. This work will be financially sustainable, through securing and managing commercial partnerships and accessing funding sources such as grants. Reporting to our Director of Partnerships and Communities, this role requires leadership, creativity, and strategic thinking. It includes line management responsibilities for our Partnerships and Business Development Manager and Digital Inclusion Manager.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications Ideally degree level experience, with demonstrable commitment to CPD.

Experience:

Proven experience in designing and managing innovative projects, partnerships and relationships that achieve a social and commercial impact.

Experience in securing and delivering corporate partnerships and grant-funded activities.

Demonstrable success in building and nurturing relationships with diverse stakeholders, including partners, funders, and internal teams.

Experience of working at a strategic level including developing strategies and reports, working with senior and influential people, and handling a budget.

Leadership and people management experience.

Experience of working at a national level.

Knowledge:

Significant knowledge of partnership development, project management methodologies, and programme design principles. This includes understanding budgeting and resource allocation.

Strong understanding of the needs and expectations of influential brands, funders and individuals.

An understanding of how to find and grow partnerships and commercial opportunities relevant to this role.

Understanding of issues, challenges, and goals relevant to the social care sector and the lives of the people we support.

Familiarity with approaches taken by charities, community groups, academics and other relevant organisations achieve a positive impact.
