Job summary

Deputy Manager/Clinical Lead Required For Inpatient Detox Service In Nottingham

The Level is a 20-bed facility based in Nottingham which provides individually tailored treatment and support for people in need of a medically assisted stabilisation or detoxification from either alcohol or other substances.

Framework is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and skilled person to take on the role of Deputy Manager.

The Clinical Lead/Deputy Manager will act as a role model, demonstrating high standards of care and providing clinical leadership to the staff team. The Deputy Manager will need to promote a culture that supports self-management, whilst providing specialist education. This is an exciting opportunity to lead in the development, management and promotion of a specialist service providing treatment to service users across the country.

The post has been advertised as a permanent position; however, a secondment could be considered.

Leading the development, management and promotion of the nursing service, ensuring the delivery of high quality, cost-effective nursing care.

Collating and recording robust quantitative and qualitative data in order to provide evidence of productivity, outcomes and quality, through audit and research.

The Level Deputy Manager

Participates in Service user Reviews in order to drive service improvement and effective outcomes.

Leads on the implementation and monitoring of adherence to relevant medication and clinical guidelines.

Actively participates in multi-professional meetings, acting as a patient advocate and representing nursing views.

Actively engages with wider substance misuse services to contribute expertise and experience and supports the wider development of Framework substance misuse services and related strategic objectives.

Demonstrates skills in conflict resolution and competent negotiation skills when dealing with difficult or challenging situations.
