Main duties of the job
As the Therapy Team Lead, you will oversee the daily management of the rehabilitation therapy team, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for people using our services. You will coordinate therapy goal-setting meetings, lead multidisciplinary team (MDT) discussions, and work closely with both the therapy and management teams to ensure smooth communication across services. In the absence of the Clinical Head of Rehab, you will step in to support the team and ensure continuity of care.
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload while supervising the clinical caseload of the therapy team. Youll also take the lead in service development, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance care. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and delivery of specialist training for staff, support the induction of new team members, and ensure the efficient allocation of therapy tasks and resources.
This is a pivotal leadership role with a focus on quality care, team collaboration, and service improvement.

Therapy Team Lead Role/Job Purpose
The Therapy Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the therapy team at [Bagshot Park/Kingston Rehabilitation Centre]. In this role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation therapy, guide the clinical team, and support the operational management of the service. You will deputise for the Clinical Head of Rehabilitation in their absence and work closely with senior management to drive service improvements and ensure patient care standards are met.
